1. ANALYTICAL MOVEMENT
The tiny tots demonstrate the basic steps of Manipuri dance upon which the superstructure of all intricate compositions is built by elementary group Swikriti, Dharanya, Urminala, Shirley, Anwesha Banerjee, Swati, Srisudha, Roopkatha, Sayanika, Sayantani, Nikita, Prakriti, Radoshi, Sushmita, Sshradhya, Madhuparna, Nabanita, Anwesha Sarkar, Debasmita, Purvi, Rittika, Sinjini, Srimedha, Reini, Ishanee, Dishari, Madhurima, Bhayika, Sanpurna, Pragya, Maitree, Riddhi, Satabdi, Asmita.
2. BALA KRISHNA NARTAN
This dance is performed when the small Krishna learns to walk. It is being performed by Shirley, Srisudha, Urminala, Nayanika, Roopkatha, Swati, Sharanya, Anwesha Banerjee, Swikriti.
3. KRISHNA NARTAN
This dance is performed when Krishna with his friends, amidst the meadows, enjoyed every moment of the dance. This dance is performed by Madhuparna, Radoshi, Prakriti, Madhurima, Anwesha Sarkar, Nabanita, Purvi, Rittika, Debasmita, Sayantani, Nikita.
4 KRISHNA BALARAM NARTAN
This dance Krishna performs with his elder brother Balaram and enjoys every bit of the performance and is performed by Dishar, Sushmita, Reini, Shradhya, Srimedha.
It is a sequence from the Udhukal based on the childhood of young Krishna. Young Krishna is seen stealing butter when his mother Yashodha is away. Assuming that his mother is away, Krishna breaks open the pots of butter which were lying in the compoundwith a eluming rod. He calls his brother to share his booty. He enters the house to find more pots of butter. After a thorough search, he finds one pot of butter hanging from the ceiling. He tries to reach it but is not able to do so. So he collects the stools and keeps one above the other and he climbs the stools breaks the pot and eats the butter. Immediately he is afraid that his mother may arrive. As soon as he bears the footsteps of his mother, he runs away. It depicts two emotions of joy and fear. This item is being staged by Ishanee Patra, Madhurima, Debnath and Dinjini Ghosh, Sanchayeeta Das.
A dance drama composed by Lt Guru Bipin Singh Ji many years back and being revived again. The story goes, Krishna setting but for the meadows to graze the cattle with his elder brother and friends. After the grazing of the cattle Krishna on one side and Balaram on the other side play with ball where the game ends up by Krishna being the loser in the game by Asmita, Riddhi, Ayagya, Ishanee, Samopurna, Satabdi, Maitree and Bhavika.
7. KHUBAK ESHI
In Manipur Child grows up in the atmosphere of dance and music. As each and every social and religious festival is celebrated with dance and music. Right from the birth of a child, occasion like piercing the ears, giving food for the first time to a child, marriage, death and sharadha dances with pung and cymbals are must over and above these all festivals in relation to lord Krishna and Radha are celebrated with different dance and music forms. Khubakishei is a clep dance performed by men and women in the festival of rathyatra, charist, procession of lord Jagannath in the month of June in Manipur. Along with it Kavi Jaydev’s dashavatar stuti is being rendered and is performed by Asmita, Maitra Pragya, Bhavika, Satabdi, Sampurna, Tapas, Rintu, Mausam, Kaushik and Riddhi.
